About

Engineering leadership grounded in craft

For nearly two decades, I've sat at the intersection of deep technical ownership and people leadership — running distributed teams across time zones, shaping architecture decisions that last years, and translating complex healthcare standards into shipping software.

My strongest gear is the PM / Lead role: accountable for scope, delivery, team health, and stakeholder confidence all at once. I've operated in this mode at NextGen Healthcare for 13+ years across the most compliance-heavy, interoperability-critical systems in U.S. healthcare.

I don't manage from a distance. I review PRs, call out architectural drift early, run post-mortems with rigour, and keep engineers motivated through complex deliveries. I'm an A-CSM certified Scrum Master who has run squads of 10+ through full Agile cycles from backlog grooming to retrospective.
